This is an 1838 Large Cent, the Matron Head Modified Variety. Also known as The Young Head.

Using Coin World's Making the Grade, we would estimate this to be Very Fine.

When we brought in this collection, we were pleasantly surprised at how nice this, and the other large cents were. Many that we find as our affordable examples are well worn. This one has great details, and will make an amazing addition to your collection!!
