1808 Classic Head Cent 843.8-A

This 1808 Classic Head Cent is a large cent from the early American coinage series, graded VG-8. The obverse features the Classic Head design of Liberty, with LIBERTY inscribed on the headband, surrounded by stars. The reverse displays the denomination "ONE CENT" within a wreath, with UNITED STATES OF AMERICA around the border. The coin presents an even, dark copper patina. Graded VG-8, this example displays the major design elements clearly and makes a solid addition to any early American large cent collection.
