This 1809 Classic Head Cent is graded Fine-2 (F-2) and represents an early example of United States copper coinage from the Classic Head series. The Classic Head cent, designed by John Reich, features a left-facing portrait of Liberty with a headband inscribed "LIBERTY," surrounded by stars, with the reverse displaying a wreath and denomination. In Fine-2 condition, the coin shows considerable wear overall, with major design elements visible but with flat or worn high points — appropriate for a coin of this age and circulated character. A solid, honest example of this early American cent type.
Coin Grading is Subjective, and should be treated as an opinion of grade. We use ANA Grading Standards as our Reference.
