The 1819/8 Large Date Coronet Head cent is an early American copper piece featuring one of the more collectible overdate varieties of the series. The obverse displays the classic Coronet Head design with LIBERTY inscribed on the headband, while the reverse features a wreath surrounding ONE CENT with UNITED STATES OF AMERICA around the border. This example grades Fine-15, showing moderate even wear with most major design elements clearly defined. A solid, honest circulated example of this interesting early U.S. cent.
