1835 head of 1836 Coronet head cent VG-10 1012.10

This 1835 large cent features the Head of 1836 style Coronet Head obverse, graded Very Good-10. The Coronet Head design, introduced by portraitist William Kneass, is recognized by the classic head with a coronet inscribed LIBERTY. At VG-10, the coin shows moderate, even wear with major design elements clearly visible and some detail remaining in the hair and legends. A solid circulated example of this early American copper type.
