1846 Braided hair cent VF-35 1123.35

This 1846 Braided Hair Large Cent grades Very Fine 35. The Braided Hair design, engraved by Christian Gobrecht, was produced from 1839 through 1857 and represents the final chapter of the large cent series. At VF-35, this example shows moderate, even wear across the high points, with LIBERTY readable and the hair cords and braids remaining distinct. A solid mid-grade circulated example of this classic early American copper type.
