1938 Mercury Dime MS-63 4507.63-A

The 1938 Mercury Dime is a classic example of Adolph Weinman's celebrated Winged Liberty Head design, struck in 90% silver. The obverse features Liberty wearing a winged cap, with the date 1938 and the motto "IN GOD WE TRUST" clearly visible. The reverse displays the fasces and olive branch design, inscribed "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" and "ONE DIME." This example grades MS-63, indicating a fully mint-state coin with original luster. Struck at the Philadelphia Mint, this dime weighs 2.50 grams and measures 17.90 mm in diameter with a reeded edge.
