1940 Walking Liberty Half AU-50

The Walking Liberty Half Dollar is one of the most beloved designs in American coinage, featuring Adolph Weinman's iconic depiction of Liberty draped in the American flag striding toward the sunrise on the obverse, and a proud eagle on the reverse. This 1940 example grades AU-50, showing light wear on the high points with most of the original mint luster still visible in the protected areas. A classic 90% silver type coin with strong eye appeal at this grade level.
