1947-D Walking Liberty Half AU-53

The 1947-D Walking Liberty Half Dollar is a classic example of one of America's most beloved coin designs. Adolph Weinman's Walking Liberty design, featuring Lady Liberty draped in the American flag striding toward the sunrise, graced the obverse of the half dollar from 1916 through 1947. This example grades AU-53, showing the bulk of its original detail with light wear on the high points consistent with brief circulation. A solid, collectible example of this 20th-century silver classic.
