1888 V-Nickel 2953.D20-A

The 1888 Liberty Head V Nickel features the classic Liberty portrait on the obverse, surrounded by thirteen stars, with the date 1888 below. The reverse displays the large Roman numeral "V" within a wreath, inscribed "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" and "CENTS." This example grades VF, showing well-defined major design elements on both sides.
