1820 Coronet Head Cent Small Date FR-2 901.2-A

The 1820 Coronet Head Cent, Small Date variety, is a large copper cent from the early American series featuring Liberty wearing a coronet inscribed with "LIBERTY." This example is graded FR-2. The obverse displays the classic left-facing portrait of Liberty with stars surrounding her and the date 1820 below. The reverse shows the wreath and "ONE CENT" denomination within. The Small Date variety is a recognized die distinction within the 1820 large cent series.
