The 1820 Small Date Coronet Head Large Cent is an early American copper coin struck during a transitional period in U.S. coinage history. This example grades Good-6, showing the classic flat, evenly worn surfaces expected at this grade level, with the major design elements still visible and identifiable. The Coronet Head design, engraved by Robert Scot and John Reich, features Liberty facing left with a coronet inscribed "LIBERTY," surrounded by stars. The reverse displays a wreath encircling the denomination. A solid, honest circulated example of this early large cent variety.
Coin Grading is Subjective, and should be treated as an opinion of grade. We use ANA Grading Standards as our Reference.
