This 1827 Coronet Head Large Cent has been graded DVG-8 (Details Very Good-8), indicating a well-circulated example that retains clear major design elements. The Coronet Head cent, struck during the early American republic era, features Liberty wearing a coronet on the obverse and a wreath surrounding the denomination on the reverse. At this grade, the coin displays even wear across the high points with the overall design remaining bold and identifiable. A solid circulated example of this classic early American copper type.

Coin Grading is Subjective, and should be treated as an opinion of grade. We use ANA Grading Standards as our Reference.
