The 1827 Coronet Head Cent is a large cent from the early American copper series, featuring the classic portrait of Liberty wearing a coronet inscribed "LIBERTY" on the obverse, surrounded by thirteen stars. The reverse displays the denomination "ONE CENT" within a wreath, with "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" around the border. This example is graded G-6, showing the major design elements clearly defined. A genuine piece of early 19th-century American coinage, well-suited for type collectors or those building a date run of large cents.

Coin Grading is Subjective, and should be treated as an opinion of grade. We use ANA Grading Standards as our Reference.
