This 1848 Braided Hair Cent is a classic large cent from the mid-19th century United States, graded Good. The obverse displays the familiar braided-hair Liberty portrait surrounded by stars, with the date 1848 visible at the bottom. The reverse shows the "ONE CENT" denomination within a wreath — a solid circulated example of this pre-Civil War copper coin.
