1850 Braided hair cent VF-30 1150.30

This 1850 Braided Hair Large Cent grades Very Fine 30. The Braided Hair design, engraved by Christian Gobrecht, was the final large cent type produced by the United States Mint, featuring Liberty with a braided coronet on the obverse and a wreath surrounding the denomination on the reverse. At VF-30, this example shows moderate wear with the major design elements well defined and pleasing overall detail remaining.
