1858 Flying Eagle Cent Small Letters VF-20 15316.20-A

The 1858 Flying Eagle Cent Small Letters is a one-year type variety of the short-lived Flying Eagle cent series. The obverse displays a bald eagle in flight with the legend "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" around the border and the date 1858 at the bottom. The reverse features the bold "ONE CENT" inscription surrounded by an agricultural wreath. This example is the Small Letters variety, graded VF-20.
