This 1876-S Trade Dollar grades XF45 and carries chop marks, visible on the coin's surface, applied by Asian merchants as a mark of acceptance. The obverse features the seated Liberty figure with date 1876, and the reverse displays the eagle design inscribed "420 GRAINS, 900 FINE. TRADE DOLLAR" with the S mint mark legible below the eagle.
