This 1929 Standing Liberty Quarter grades G-4, making it a solid circulated example of one of the most celebrated designs in American coinage history. The Standing Liberty Quarter series, struck from 1916 through 1930, features Hermon MacNeil's iconic depiction of Liberty standing in a gateway on the obverse, with a flying eagle on the reverse. A G-4 example retains the major design elements clearly enough to identify the type, date, and series — a natural fit for type collectors and Standing Liberty Quarter enthusiasts alike.
Coin Grading is Subjective, and should be treated as an opinion of grade. We use ANA Grading Standards as our Reference.
