1943 Mercury Dime MS-60 4517.60-A

This 1943 Mercury Dime is a 90% silver, 10% copper ten-cent piece struck at the Philadelphia Mint, graded MS-60. The obverse features the familiar winged Liberty head portrait, with "LIBERTY" along the upper rim, "IN GOD WE TRUST" at the lower left, and the date 1943 at the bottom. The reverse displays the fasces and olive branch design, inscribed "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA," "ONE DIME," and "E PLURIBUS UNUM." The coin weighs 2.50 grams and measures 17.90 mm in diameter with a reeded edge. Graded MS-60, this example represents an uncirculated Mercury Dime from a milestone wartime year in the series.
