This 1945-S Washington Quarter displays a Doubled Die Obverse, Die 2 variety, certified and graded AU 50 by ANACS. The doubled die variety adds a layer of numismatic interest to this mid-century classic, making it a worthwhile addition to any Washington Quarter or variety collection. The AU 50 grade reflects a coin that retains considerable original detail. Struck at the San Francisco Mint during World War II, this coin carries the appeal of a key wartime issue combined with an attributable doubled die variety.
