This 1953 $2 Legal Tender Star Replacement Note carries the distinctive red seal of the Legal Tender series and is cataloged as Fr. 1509*. The star suffix in the serial number identifies this as a replacement note, printed to substitute for a sheet that was damaged or rejected during production — a detail that adds a specific collecting dimension to any Legal Tender type set. This note has been noted with pencil and ink on the obverse, which is indicated in the title and reflected in the Details designation.

Coin Grading is Subjective, and should be treated as an opinion of grade. We use ANA Grading Standards as our Reference.
