This 1982 Canada 1 Cent is a certified mint error: the cent dies were struck on a dime planchet, producing a notably smaller and silver-colored coin. ICG graded the piece MS65, certifying it in full mint state. Error coins of this type — where the correct dies meet the wrong planchet — are a recognized and collected category of Canadian coinage.

Coin Grading is Subjective, and should be treated as an opinion of grade. We use ANA Grading Standards as our Reference.
