This 2020 Lincoln cent comes back from NGC with a Details grade of Altered Color. The coin shows no wear but was noted by NGC graders to have a non-original surface color, preventing a numerical grade. It is attributed as a CMSC (Chemically or Mechanically Surface Changed) variety. A straightforward example for collectors interested in Details-graded cents or altered-color attributions.

Coin Grading is Subjective, and should be treated as an opinion of grade. We use ANA Grading Standards as our Reference.
